Be cautious about adopting a checkbox approach to evaluating functionality.  Features are ‘what’s’, and modern ERP systems are rich in features.  What causes functionality to go down the rabbit hole is not the ‘what’, it’s the ‘how.’  Your evaluation process should assess the underlying processes and workflows that support the features.
